In these uncertain times we are all living, looking up at Norwegian lifestyle could be helpful.

When psychologist Lebowitz first moved to the Arctic city of Tromsø, she observed how a resilient mindset was key to survive a long and dark winter, with only two hours of daily light. Her research on population's habits was completed when COVID-19 wasn't part of our daily lives yet, but with a perfect timing can now help us facing the prospect of a winter of restrictions.

Norwegian people are used to adapt this hard situation, seeing a stressful event as a challenging opportunity: listing all the positive things that could be done and learned during these months helps build a positive mindset for the months that will follow when this will be over.

This positive mindset influences both physiological and psychological responses too, allowing both body and mind to overcome and forget these stressful times!
